I was #1

A great weekend of playing poker, one of the best I had. Especially, since this weekend was my 40th birthday.

Saturday night, May 19th I played a tournament at Viejas. Which was a $50 buy-in and one $30 rebuy or add-on. That night I had to do a rebuy, since I did not made it to the add-on period.

Needless to say, I made it to the final table with a lot of hard work and good cards. At the final table, I was about second in chips. Which I was pretty much had security. When we had our dicussion about chopping, the chip leader and myself who was second agree to chop for about $660 a person. But one individual refuse to chop. So we played on at the final table.

And, I was on fire. I personally took five people out on the final table. So by that time I was dominating in chips. I had more chips than the other players combine.

This is no lie, in four consecutive hands, I had a straight, flush, full house, and even a straight flush.

These players were going on in, for me to call them was only a few chips to me to call. The best hand of the night, one player went all in so I had to called. He had pocket Aces. And I had a K 4 of spades. The flop was three spades, so I flopped a flush with K high. But the other player had the A of spades. Picture this the flop was 5-6-9 of spades. And the turn was 3 spades, so the other player had an Ace high flush. And the river was a 7 spades which gave me a straight flush over his Ace high flush. That was a Kodak moment.

I did agree to chopped with the remaining players, but they had to make me a deal. I received $1200 while the other received $800 a piece. It was a good nite,

I have cash for Vegas....
