Poker Tournament #5

Even last night at the Poker League, I was doing pretty good. Even though I was little drunk, It was also the eve before my 40th. So I was more celebrating more, then playing poker. Josh came pick me up so I did not have to drive. I did came in second that while Krispy took down the tournament. Of all the players, I am glad that he took it down. He did a good come back. But I had two four of kinds that night. Can you say, "Rock On"?

I like to give Kudos to Kevin for this Poker league that he created. And conrats Krispy on his win.

I was #1

A great weekend of playing poker, one of the best I had. Especially, since this weekend was my 40th birthday.

Saturday night, May 19th I played a tournament at Viejas. Which was a $50 buy-in and one $30 rebuy or add-on. That night I had to do a rebuy, since I did not made it to the add-on period.

Needless to say, I made it to the final table with a lot of hard work and good cards. At the final table, I was about second in chips. Which I was pretty much had security. When we had our dicussion about chopping, the chip leader and myself who was second agree to chop for about $660 a person. But one individual refuse to chop. So we played on at the final table.

And, I was on fire. I personally took five people out on the final table. So by that time I was dominating in chips. I had more chips than the other players combine.

This is no lie, in four consecutive hands, I had a straight, flush, full house, and even a straight flush.

These players were going on in, for me to call them was only a few chips to me to call. The best hand of the night, one player went all in so I had to called. He had pocket Aces. And I had a K 4 of spades. The flop was three spades, so I flopped a flush with K high. But the other player had the A of spades. Picture this the flop was 5-6-9 of spades. And the turn was 3 spades, so the other player had an Ace high flush. And the river was a 7 spades which gave me a straight flush over his Ace high flush. That was a Kodak moment.

I did agree to chopped with the remaining players, but they had to make me a deal. I received $1200 while the other received $800 a piece. It was a good nite,

I have cash for Vegas....

Viejas or bust

Poker for the weekend... There is no poker league due to Mother's Day. Oh by the way, Happy Mother's Day to all.

J-dizz and I went to Viejas, last night. The funny thing about the whole thing, neither one of was really wanted to go. We both only went because we thought the other wanted to go. There was no tournament that night, due to the Ace Tournament. We played a little cash game, be we gone within the hour. Which normally we would last for hours.

I learn a lot og my plays from J-D, he told me that night he would risk alot on a strong pocket pair and he due it again. So know I gave it shot.

I was up early this am, so I went to Viejas to play the Sunday Morning Tournament. I started out good, buth then I had pocket nines. The flop were good for me I thought, everything was low, below a nine, I had pocket nines with a straight draw. But I went all in with the player next to me, she pocket Qs, but my straight draw never, but everything was below a nine out there. Know I will do that again also, but ut did eneded my tournament life this morning.

Always remember to Poker Hard!!
