More Poker
The weekend of Memorial Day, a friends and me celebrate 40th in Las Vegas. It was one best time that I ever had, even though I did not play any real poker or tournaments, I did play Blackjack every chance I got, but it was more of a drunk fest for myself that weekend....Viva Las Vegas...
A few days for the forth of July, I stayed at the Perchanga Hotel & Casino Resort in Temecula, California. I did not play any poker, but I did played Blackjack and did quite well. It is always a good thing leaving the Casino with more money than I arrived.

Poker Tournament #5
I like to give Kudos to Kevin for this Poker league that he created. And conrats Krispy on his win.
I was #1
Saturday night, May 19th I played a tournament at Viejas. Which was a $50 buy-in and one $30 rebuy or add-on. That night I had to do a rebuy, since I did not made it to the add-on period.
Needless to say, I made it to the final table with a lot of hard work and good cards. At the final table, I was about second in chips. Which I was pretty much had security. When we had our dicussion about chopping, the chip leader and myself who was second agree to chop for about $660 a person. But one individual refuse to chop. So we played on at the final table.
And, I was on fire. I personally took five people out on the final table. So by that time I was dominating in chips. I had more chips than the other players combine.
This is no lie, in four consecutive hands, I had a straight, flush, full house, and even a straight flush.
These players were going on in, for me to call them was only a few chips to me to call. The best hand of the night, one player went all in so I had to called. He had pocket Aces. And I had a K 4 of spades. The flop was three spades, so I flopped a flush with K high. But the other player had the A of spades. Picture this the flop was 5-6-9 of spades. And the turn was 3 spades, so the other player had an Ace high flush. And the river was a 7 spades which gave me a straight flush over his Ace high flush. That was a Kodak moment.
I did agree to chopped with the remaining players, but they had to make me a deal. I received $1200 while the other received $800 a piece. It was a good nite,
I have cash for Vegas....

Viejas or bust
J-dizz and I went to Viejas, last night. The funny thing about the whole thing, neither one of was really wanted to go. We both only went because we thought the other wanted to go. There was no tournament that night, due to the Ace Tournament. We played a little cash game, be we gone within the hour. Which normally we would last for hours.
I learn a lot og my plays from J-D, he told me that night he would risk alot on a strong pocket pair and he due it again. So know I gave it shot.
I was up early this am, so I went to Viejas to play the Sunday Morning Tournament. I started out good, buth then I had pocket nines. The flop were good for me I thought, everything was low, below a nine, I had pocket nines with a straight draw. But I went all in with the player next to me, she pocket Qs, but my straight draw never, but everything was below a nine out there. Know I will do that again also, but ut did eneded my tournament life this morning.

Playin with the Big Boys
Let me see the synopsis of yesterday's poker playing. I did play 1-3 NL, but these guys were crazy paying with big money, Boy, I was playing with the Big Boys. But during the cash games, I was not really getting any cards either to play with. I was not on top like I was the last few times.
Playing the tournament, leter that evening, which I finsh 24th out of 104 with end result my pocket nines waas defeated by A-J with an A on the river. But, I was surprise I lasted that long and taking a severely bad beat when my full house was beat by a higher full house. Then I realize, I had to come back strong going all-in two times following and winning whcih double me up twice. I had more pocket good pocket cards in that tournament than any other. But it was a good tournament over all.
And today we are starting our second game in our poker league. As of now in I am in 9th place with 21 pts. But tonight it will be a different game.
Always remeber to Poker Hard, and dont forget to pay amish to the Poker Gods!!!

Back in the Saddle

Poke Hard is back sort of speak, I guess you could call it that. I took a long hiatus, or break what ever you want to call it from poker because of other commitments I had to complete first my career.
But I am back in to the game. A week and half ago or so, on Tuesday, Jack Dizzy and I went to the casino to play cash games, which I never usually played cash games all that often. I played 1-3 NL, after started out slow, I did end up on fire and the best hand of the night for was, I was looking at pocket 10s for me, there was a sustancial amount of raise before the flop, two other players and myself.and the flop was A, Q and a 10. So, I have trips. But the two other players went in full force, I thought to myself, does someone have a straight. I called also, but on the river, was my fourth 10. I rape in some money on that hand. I won enough money for my $300 buy-in for the Ace tourney.
April 7th, Ace tourney, yep I was in along with 388 other players. Jack Dizzy show for his support with me in the tourney, But I finsh 119th out of 389 with 4 and half hours into the tourney. I went out with K 10 but ran into pocket As.
Tonight, I was there again, playine 1-2 NL, Boy, I was on fire. J-D was right about the 1-2 tables. Made enough money to play in the Tourney tonight. Which I finish 12th out of 101 players. Did not make the money, but I made a good effort.
Tomorrow, we are starting a Poker League, I will write more about it after it began...I wish all the players luck.

Its a bitch!!!
Poker Hard
Texas Holdem is the game. I played a tournament yesterday at Viejas Casino, which is approximately 25 mile east of San Diego off of interstate 8. It was a $300 buy-in. But let me back track a little more. The following Tuesday, a friend convince me to go to the Casino to play cash games, but I do not need much convincing to go to the Casino, I am always down. Any how, I kick ass, I won enough for my buy-in on Saturday. But, J-dizzy came out Saturday for moral support, thanks man...you're the best. There was 389 people in the tournament, which I figure I completed around 120 or so place. They started out with 38 table and I made it to the top 12 tables. I went out with a good hand, my two pairs Ks over 10s was defeated by set of Aces. But it was all good.
I am always ready for my next hold'em game or my next tournament.
